DOCUMENT TITLE: Service mark Ser. No. 73007908, Scientology cross, filed SUBJECT: Filing for Scientology cross service marks for goods and services category: "Religious and ministerial services including pastoral counseling, educational and philosophical services-namely, planning and conducting courses in the field of philosophy". PARTIES: Purportedly, L. Ron Hubbard; Joan Kuppersmith Larkin, Attorney of Record; Religious Technology Center (RTC), purported "assignee" in fraudulent trademarks "transfer" BACKGROUND AND NOTES On 3 December 1973, Joan Kuppersmith Larkin filed this Scientology cross as a service mark in the name of "L. Ron Hubbard, individual United States" with a reported address of 1812 19th St. NW. Washington D.C. 20009. On or about the same date, L. Ron Hubbard purportedly had a motorcycle accident on the island of Tenarife, off the west coast of Africa, in which he allegedly broke several ribs and was allegedly so battered that he was in "seclusion" in his cabin on the Flag ship Apollo for threee months afterward--one of many such ensuing "seclusions." The firm of IRS plant Norton S. Karno is already involved with the Church of Scientology of California (CSC) and the Guardian's Office (GO), and likely is behind or responsible for this filing. This is one of the key controlling marks that will be part of a fraudulent "transfer" of marks from "L. Ron Hubbard" to the Religious Technology Center (RTC) on 10 May 1982, while all controlling interest in this mark was withheld in the estate of L. Ron Hubbard for later transfer, by order of IRS, as part of "Author's Family Trust-B" to the Church of Spiritual Technology (CST), who currently has controlling ownership in the mark. Please see our report on the trademarks, and the document for the fraudulent transfer, for a full accounting.
